HOW TO MINE ETHEREUM

1. CHOOSE MINING HARDWARE

Before getting started, you will need to:

• Buy mining hardware: graphics cards (GPU) AMD or Nvidia with at least 4+GB RAM. To check the profitability of your hardware, please visit WhatToMine;
• Connect your GPUs to Windows or Linux compatible PC using PCI slots;
• Install the latest GPU drivers.

2. CREATE ETH WALLET

To get rewards from mining, you need to have your personal ETH wallet. Here are some popular wallets:

• Hardware wallets Ledger Nano S or Trezor;
• Browser wallet Metamask;
• Exchange’s wallet cex.io.

3. CONNECT MINER TO THE POOL

To start mining in the pool, you need to configure your miner. Here are pool.wattum.io pool settings:
URL: wpool.wattum.io
Port: 3401
UserName: your username on pool.wattum.io
WorkerName: name of your worker, optional

• Claymore’s Dual Ethereum GPU Miner (Windows)

Download latest version from the BitcoinTalk thread.

Extract zip files to a folder.

Open the folder you’ve just extracted and find start.bat file.

Click edit and replace default parameters with pool.wattum.io ones.

Save the file and start

epool: wpool.wattum.io:3401

ewal: UserName.WorkerName

Dual mining. For mining additional coins like VERGE, use dual mining

• HiveOS (Linux)

Settings for HiveOS:
No specific settings needed, as Pool.wattum.io is already integrated into the HiveOS pool’s list.

To start mining ETH do the following:
1. Sing into your HiveOS account.
2. Go to the Wallets section and add ETH wallet:
Coin — ETH.
Address — ETH wallet or your username at Pool.wattum.io.
Name — worker name.
3. Go to the Flight Sheets section. In drop-down menus set the following:
Coin — ETH
Wallet — the wallet you’ve added in the point 2.
Pool — WATTUM, EU server enabled.
Miner — Claymore Dual or ETH miner.

4. TRACK YOUR STATS

Login to your account and then go to the Dashboard section.

5. GET REWARDS

You will mine on the pool’s common ETH wallet and then withdraw rewards to your personal wallet from pool.wattum.io account.
